How to install an eSIM on Android

Install your ByeRoaming eSIM on Android over Wi‑Fi before you travel: open Settings, add a mobile plan, scan the QR code from the ByeRoaming App or email, then enable the travel line for data when you land. You need an unlocked, eSIM-capable Android phone.

Install with QR code

  1. Connect to Wi‑Fi.
  2. Open Settings → Network & Internet (or Connections).
  3. Tap SIMs / Mobile network → Add mobile plan / Download a SIM instead.
  4. Scan the ByeRoaming QR code (or enter the activation code manually).
  5. Follow the prompts and name the plan (e.g. "Travel Data").
  6. After landing, set the travel eSIM as the data line and turn on roaming for that SIM if prompted.

Tips

Menu names vary by Samsung, Pixel, and other OEMs — search Settings for "eSIM" or "Add mobile plan" if paths differ. Keep your home SIM for calls/SMS if you want.
